Job summary

Constellation is seeking Initial License Trainees (ILT) to become licensed Senior Reactor Operators (SRO) at LaSalle Nuclear Power Station in Marseilles, IL. The role trains you to supervise licensed reactor operators in the control room and directly supervise bargaining unit operators.

Training covers all phases to achieve NRC licensure, with responsibilities including emergency response and outage support, progressing toward supervisory duties in a nuclear facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• A 4-year engineering degree or equivalent is required.
• Current or previous SRO Instructor certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Attend Initial License Training (ILT) with classroom and on-the-job training.
• Complete all training phases to obtain an SRO license and supervise licensed operators.
• Support outage activities and provide departmental coverage as needed.
