Job summary

Constellation is seeking Initial License Trainees (ILT) to become licensed Senior Reactor Operators (SRO) at Clinton Nuclear Power Station in Clinton, IL. The program trains you to supervise licensed reactor operators and equipment operators in the reactor control room, under NRC oversight.

Successful candidates will complete phases of training to gain an SRO license and may supervise bargaining unit staff while supporting outage activities and emergency response as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required or higher education strongly preferred.
• Engineering degree or professional license with 1.5+ years in related senior/operator roles.
• SRO Instructor certification with relevant facility experience.

Responsibilities

• Attend Initial License Training (ILT) with classroom, on-the-job training, and exams.
• Complete all training phases to obtain an SRO license to supervise licensed operators.
• Support outage activities and provide coverage as needed.

Education

4-year engineering/physical sciences degree
