Job summary

S&ME is seeking an experienced engineer or geologist for nuclear-focused projects, providing technical expertise and project management. The role includes PQAM/QAR duties within the Nuclear QA program and potential work across multiple markets, with extensive travel in the footprint.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in geotechnical work, strong communication, and willingness to travel 10 days on/4 days off during nuclear projects. Full-time with competitive benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in engineering, geology, environmental, construction, or related field is required or a plus.
• 5+ years in geotechnical investigations, construction, or engineering projects preferred.
• Experience with nuclear projects is a plus; consulting background helpful.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate field drilling operations: soil sampling, monitoring, logging.
• Analyze data and support project success and client communications.
• Prepare proposals and reports for client needs and project development.
• Support QA program by adhering to NQA-1 and regulatory requirements.
• Lead or participate in on-site audits and coordination with vendors.
