Job summary

S&ME Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Engineer or Geologist to support a variety of nuclear, commercial, industrial, and energy projects. This position involves providing technical expertise, managing projects, and ensuring quality assurance as part of high-profile nuclear initiatives.

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree, have at least 5 years of relevant experience, and possess excellent communication skills. Opportunities for travel and involvement in diverse projects await the successful applicant.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in geotechnical investigations, construction, and/or engineering projects.
• Experience with nuclear projects is a plus.
• Consulting experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Field coordination of drilling operations to collect soil samples.
• In-depth data analysis focused on project success.
• Preparation of project proposals and reports.
• Providing project and client support through effective communication.

Skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to travel and work a rotational schedule

Ability to work outdoors and on uneven terrain

Ability to lift and carry equipment (40-50 lbs)

Education

Bachelor's degree in engineering, geology, environmental, or related field
