Job summary

S&M E is seeking an experienced engineer or geologist to provide technical expertise and project management for civil, environmental, and geotechnical projects in the nuclear sector, plus related markets. The role may serve as PQAM or QAR within the Nuclear Quality Assurance Program.

The position requires flexibility to travel and work a rotation of 10 days on / 4 days off, with sites across the Southeast and Midwest.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, geology, environmental, construction, or related field.
• 5+ years in geotechnical investigations, construction, and/or engineering projects.
• Nuclear project experience or consulting experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate field drilling operations and soil sampling.
• Analyze data and develop project proposals and reports.
• Support QA duties as PQAM or QAR within the Nuclear QA program.
• Lead or participate in QA audits and supplier oversight.
• Travel across our footprint with a 10 days on / 4 days off rotation.
