Job summary

S&ME is seeking an experienced Project Engineer or Geologist to support civil, environmental, and geotechnical projects in the nuclear sector, with potential QA roles under the NQA program. Travel across our footprint and collaborate with industry professionals on site selection, drilling, QA, and data analysis.

The position offers exposure to high-profile nuclear projects, flexibility to work from multiple locations, and opportunities in commercial, industrial, and energy markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, geology, environmental, construction, or related field.
• 5+ years of geotechnical investigations, construction, and/or engineering project experience.
• Nuclear project experience is a plus.
• Consulting experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate field drilling operations and monitor drilling activities.
• Conduct in-depth data analysis and support project success through decisions.
• Prepare proposals and client reports to confirm client expectations are met.
• Create detailed reports with findings, insights, and recommendations.
• Provide project and client support by engaging with leadership in business development events.
