Job summary

S&ME seeks a Project Engineer or Geologist to support civil, environmental, and geotechnical projects in the nuclear sector, with responsibilities spanning field exploration, data analysis, and client-facing reporting. The role emphasizes quality assurance and coordination with leadership on project development.

The position includes serving as PQAM or QAR within the Nuclear Quality Assurance Program, developing QA procedures, leading audits, and interfacing with regulators.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, geology, environmental, construction, or related field.
• 5+ years of geotechnical investigations, construction, or engineering project experience.
• Nuclear project experience is a plus.
• Consulting experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate drilling operations in the field to collect soil samples and prepare logs.
• Analyze data and support decision-making for project success.
• Prepare proposals and reports aligned with client needs.
• Create detailed reports with findings and recommendations for project development.
• Provide project and client support, updating leadership on progress.
