Job summary

S&ME Inc. is looking for a Project Engineer or Geologist to support nuclear sector projects associated with quality assurance and project management. The role involves field coordination, data analysis, and preparation of project documents.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in geotechnical investigations, construction, and/or engineering projects.
• Experience with nuclear projects is a plus.
• Consulting experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Field coordination of drilling operations to collect soil samples and prepare boring logs.
• In-depth data analysis and decision-making focused on project success.
• Preparation of project proposals and reports to meet client expectations.
• Creating detailed reports with findings and recommendations for project development.
• Providing project and client support on updates and business development.

Skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to travel and work a rotational schedule

Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Ability to stand for extended periods

Ability to lift and carry 40-50 lbs.

Education

Bachelor's degree in engineering, geology, or related field
