Job summary

ENERCON Services, Inc. seeks a Pipe Stress Engineer to join the Nuclear Services Group in Glendale, AZ to prepare documentation of pipe stress analysis and support design for process and utility piping systems on nuclear projects.

The role requires at least 3 years of piping experience and proficiency with AutoPIPE, ME 101 or PIPESTRESS, along with strong communication skills and collaboration across disciplines.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical piping design and pipe stress analysis.
  • Experience with AutoPIPE, ME 101, PIPESTRESS or similar analysis software.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

  • Perform pipe stress analysis and pipe support design for process piping and utility piping systems in nuclear and non-nuclear projects.
  • Prepare documentation and engineering outputs in line with codes, standards, and client/ENERCON procedures.
  • Review piping isometrics and provide peer and technical reviews.
  • Collaborate with Civil/Structural group and other disciplines to ensure design compatibility.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry codes and standards.
