Job summary

ENERCON Services, Inc.'s Nuclear Services Group seeks a Pipe Stress Engineer to document pipe stress analyses and support design for process and utility piping in nuclear projects. Join a multidisciplinary team and contribute to safe, compliant designs.

You will perform static and dynamic piping analyses, evaluate sustained and transient cases, coordinate with civil/structural groups, and prepare engineering documents per codes and client procedures. Some positions may be remote in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in the design of mechanical piping systems and pipe stress analysis.
• Experience with AutoPIPE, ME 101, PIPESTRESS and mechanical codes/standards.
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite.
• Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to be an individual contributor, work effectively in teams, and provide leadership/mentoring to junior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Pipe Stress Analysis & Pipe Support Design: Prepare documentation for process and utility piping systems in nuclear and non-nuclear projects.
• Perform static and dynamic piping flexibility analyses for critical piping systems.
• Analyze sustained, thermal, and multiple operating cases; and incidental conditions (winds, seismic, etc.).
• Identify pipe supports and coordination with Civil/Structural group; review piping isometrics.
