Job summary

Wellstar is seeking a Nuclear Medicine technologist for a PRN position in the United States. The role involves preparing patients, operating imaging equipment, and administering radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with department procedures.

It requires ARRT Nuclear Technology or CNMT certification and BLS, with at least 1 year of clinical experience. The position offers shift-differential incentives and up to 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Associates Radiologic Technology
• Minimum 1 year of clinical patient care experience
• ARRT Nuclear Technology certification or CNMT certification required unless stated otherwise
• Basic Life Support certification required or Instructor-level BLS

Responsibilities

• Adjust technique to obtain best diagnostic study and maintain image quality.
• Prepare patient and equipment, position for procedures, and assist with radiopharmaceutical administration.
• Verify patient identity, ensure safety, and maintain infection control standards.
• Operate NM equipment and stay compliant with Joint Commission standards.
