Job summary

Wellstar is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for PRN shifts in Georgia. The role involves performing exams, preparing radiopharmaceuticals, and ensuring patient safety and image quality. You will operate equipment, verify orders, and provide pre- and post-procedural care within department procedures.

The position offers up to 40 hours per week and eligibility for Wellstar's CareerCare program for funded education and guided progression.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology required.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical patient care experience.
• ARRT Nuclear Technology or Nuclear Med Tech certification required upon hire.
• BLS - Instructor certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate nuclear medicine equipment and acquire quality diagnostic studies.
• Prepare, administer radiopharmaceuticals and document procedures.
• Verify patient identity and orders, ensure safety and infection control.
• Assist with imaging studies and post-procedure care as needed.
