Job summary

Wellstar is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a PRN, day shift role. The technologist performs exams, sets up imaging equipment, and ensures patient safety while delivering quality diagnostic studies in a fast-paced clinical setting.

The ideal candidate has an Associate's in Radiologic Technology with ARRT/Nuclear certification and current BLS. Responsibilities include equipment setup, patient positioning, and collaboration with the care team to uphold standards and privacy.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Radiologic Technology with clinical training.
• ARRT Nuclear Technology certification or Nuclear Medicine Tech certification required on hire.
• BLS certification required or equivalent at hire.

Responsibilities

• Operate nuclear medicine equipment and perform exams per department procedures.
• Verify patient identification and safety protocols.
• Assist physicians and radiologists; document procedures and findings.
• Restock supplies and maintain department cleanliness and organization.
