Job summary

Wellstar is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a PRN position in the United States. The role involves performing imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining high-quality diagnostic studies.

The candidate will set up equipment, position patients, and adhere to department protocols with independence and judgment. Required are an Associate degree in Radiologic Technology, ARRT Nuclear Tech or Cert Nuclear Med Tech, and BLS.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical patient-care experience; Nuclear medicine experience preferred.
• ARRT Nuclear Technologist or Cert Nuclear Med Tech required; BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Operate NM equipment and position patients for imaging.
• Ensure patient safety, accurate identification and proper documentation.
• Maintain equipment, report malfunctions, and follow infection control policies.
• Demonstrate preprocedural verification and Time Out as per policy.
• Takes call as needed and supports team across modalities.
