Job summary

Wellstar is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to provide safe, patient-centered imaging services. You will prepare and position patients, operate NM equipment, and ensure image quality while maintaining safety procedures.

The role requires ARRT Nuclear Technology certification or equivalent, and at least 1 year of clinical Nuclear Medicine experience. This is a PRN, on-site position with potential for up to 40 hours weekly and education funding through CareerCare.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology required.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience caring for patients.
• ARRT Nuclear Technology certification or Cert Nuclear Med Tech preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate imaging equipment and position patients for procedures.
• Ensure patient safety, identify and verify patient identity, and follow infection control policies.
• Review images for quality and communicate results to radiologists.
• Maintain equipment and report malfunctions to supervisor.
