Job summary

Wellstar is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a PRN role in the United States. You will perform a variety of nuclear medicine imaging procedures following department protocols and safety standards.

The role emphasizes independent judgment, patient preparation, and high-quality imaging to support accurate diagnoses. Required are an Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology, ARRT Nuclear Technology or CNMT certification, and BLS (Instructor).

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Radiologic Technology.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical radiology experience.
• ARRT Nuclear Tech certification or CNMT.

Responsibilities

• Adjust technique to optimize image quality.
• Operate NM equipment per dept procedures.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during exams.
• Prepare and position patients for procedures.
• Maintain infection control and equipment hygiene.
• Restock supplies and support other technologists.
