Job summary

Medical City Heart & Spine Hospitals seeks a Nuclear Medicine Tech to join our team on a full-time, day-shift schedule (Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM). You will assist with radiographic procedures, administer radiopharmaceuticals and operate Nuclear Medicine cameras under physician supervision.

Qualifications include a CAHEA-accredited Nuclear Medicine program (preferred), Texas MTR license, and ARRT NM/NMTCB certification. ACLS/BLS is required within 6 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of CAHEA accredited school of Nuclear Medicine preferred.
• MTR State of Texas license required.
• ARRT (NM) or NMTCB certification required.
• ACLS/BLS credentials per job posting.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision of Nuclear Medicine Physician, perform general radiographic procedures as applicable in Nuclear Medicine.
• Apply isotopes for radiographic diagnosis with appropriate independent judgment.
• Perform tests on in-patients and out-patients using Nuclear Medicine equipment.
• Demonstrate radiation safety and proper handling of radiopharmaceuticals.
• Execute other duties as assigned.
