Job summary

Medical City Dallas is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technician (Full-Time, Days) to join the Heart & Spine Hospitals network. Under a physician's guidance, you will perform radiographic nuclear medicine procedures, administer radiopharmaceuticals, and ensure radiation safety across diverse imaging modalities.

The role emphasizes independent judgment, high standards of care, and collaboration with our cardiovascular and spine care teams.

Qualifications

• Graduate of CAHEA-accredited school of Nuclear Medicine.
• MTR license registered in Texas.
• ARRT (NM) or NMTCB certification required; NMTCB PET preferred.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification; ACLS within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Under the guidance of a Nuclear Medicine Physician, perform nuclear medicine procedures.
• Performs at a technical level with independent judgment applying isotopes for radiographic diagnosis.
• Operates Nuclear Medicine cameras and varied equipment.
• Administers radiopharmaceuticals per Nuclear Medicine Scope of Practice; ensure radiation safety.
• Other duties as assigned.
