Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a dedicated Nuclear Medicine Technician to join the Medical City Heart & Spine Hospitals team. The role involves performing radiologic procedures, administering radiopharmaceuticals, and upholding strict radiation safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

You will work under a Nuclear Medicine Physician and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging.

Qualifications

• Graduate of CAHEA accredited school of Nuclear Medicine.
• MTR State of Texas license.
• ARRT (NM) or NMTCB certification.
• NMTCB PET certification preferred.
• Current BLS certification; ACLS required within 6 months of hire or transfer date.

Responsibilities

• Under the guidance of a Nuclear Medicine Physician, the Nuclear Medicine/P.E.T Technologist performs general radiographic procedures as assigned.
• Performs tests on in-patients and out-patients using Nuclear Medicine cameras and equipment.
• Administers radiopharmaceuticals and ensures radiation safety per Nuclear Medicine Scope of Practice.
• Demonstrates professional conduct and adheres to safety protocols.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
