Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technician to join the Medical City Heart & Spine Hospitals network. The role supports radiology services with isotopes for diagnostic imaging and requires collaboration with Nuclear Medicine Physician to perform procedures.

As a full-time, day-shift position, you will administer radiopharmaceuticals, operate Nuclear Medicine cameras, and ensure safety standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of CAHEA accredited school of Nuclear Medicine preferred.
• MTR State of Texas license required.
• ARRT (NM) or NMTCB certification.
• NMTCB PET certification preferred.
• Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS required.
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire or transfer date.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision of a Nuclear Medicine Physician, perform Nuclear Medicine/P.E.T procedures.
• Apply isotopes for radiographic diagnosis with independence and initiative as appropriate.
• Operate Nuclear Medicine cameras and varied equipment.
• Administer pharmaceuticals and radiopharmaceuticals per Nuclear Medicine scope of practice.
• Demonstrate radiation safety and other duties as assigned.
