Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technician to join the team at the Medical City Heart & Spine Hospitals. The role supports a comprehensive cardiovascular and spine care network with advanced imaging capabilities and patient-focused care.

The technician will perform Nuclear Medicine and PET procedures under the supervision of a Nuclear Medicine Physician, ensuring quality diagnostics and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Graduate of CAHEA accredited school of Nuclear Medicine
• MTR Texas
• ARRT (NM) or NMTCB certification
• NMTCB PET certification preferred
• Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS provider
• ACLS provider required within 6 months of hire or transfer date

Responsibilities

• Under the guidance of a Nuclear Medicine Physician, the Nuclear Medicine/P.E.T Technologist performs general radiographic procedures
• Performs tests inpatients/outpatients using Nuclear Medicine cameras and varied equipment
• Administers pharmaceuticals and radiopharmaceuticals per Nuclear Medicine Scope of Practice
• Demonstrates proper radiation safety practices
• Other duties as assigned
