Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technician to join the Heart & Spine Hospitals team. You will perform radiographic procedures under a Nuclear Medicine Physician, administer radiopharmaceuticals, and operate Nuclear Medicine cameras. The position emphasizes safety, patient care, and accurate imaging.

Qualifications

• Graduate of CAHEA accredited school of Nuclear Medicine
• MTR State of Texas
• ARRT (NM) or NMTCB certification
• NMTCB PET certification preferred
• Current BLS provider
• ACLS within 6 months of hire or transfer

Responsibilities

• Under the guidance of a Nuclear Medicine Physician, the Nuclear Medicine/P.E.T Technologist performs radiographic procedures
• Applies isotopes for radiographic diagnosis with independent judgment
• Performs tests for in-patients and out-patients using Nuclear Medicine cameras and equipment
• Administers pharmaceuticals and radiopharmaceuticals per Nuclear Medicine scope of practice
• Demonstrates radiation safety and other duties as assigned
