Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technician to join our Heart & Spine Hospitals team. The role involves performing general radiographic procedures with isotopes, under the supervision of a Nuclear Medicine Physician, and ensuring patient safety.

You will work with Nuclear Medicine cameras, administer radiopharmaceuticals, and handle both inpatient and outpatient studies. Texas licensure and ARRT/NMTCB certification are required or pursued as listed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of CAHEA accredited school of Nuclear Medicine.
• MTR State of Texas license.
• ARRT (NM) or NMTCB certification.
• NMTCB PET certification preferred.
• Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS.
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire or transfer date.

Responsibilities

• Under the guidance of a Nuclear Medicine Physician, perform general radiographic procedures using nuclear medicine techniques.
• Apply isotopes for radiographic diagnosis with appropriate clinical judgment.
• Perform in-patient and out-patient tests utilizing Nuclear Medicine cameras and related equipment.
• Administer pharmaceuticals and radiopharmaceuticals per Nuclear Medicine scope of practice; follow radiation safety standards.
• Other duties as assigned.
