Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technician to join our cardiovascular and spine care team. Under the supervision of a Nuclear Medicine Physician, you will perform diagnostic imaging using Nuclear Medicine and PET cameras, administering radiopharmaceuticals and ensuring patient safety.

Required qualifications include ARRT(NM) or NMTCB certification, Texas MTR license, BLS/ACLS within 6 months, and graduates from a CAHEA-accredited Nuclear Medicine program.

Qualifications

• Graduate of CAHEA accredited school of Nuclear Medicine.
• MTR State of Texas.
• ARRT (NM) or NMTCB certification.
• NMTCB PET certification preferred.
• Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS provider.
• ACLS provider required within 6 months of hire or transfer date.

Responsibilities

• Administers pharmaceuticals and radiopharmaceuticals as outlined in Nuclear Medicine Scope of Practice.
• Demonstrates industry in radiation safety.
• Other duties as assigned.
