Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technician to join the Heart & Spine Hospitals team. Under the supervision of a Nuclear Medicine Physician, you will perform Nuclear Medicine/P.E.T procedures and operate cameras and equipment.

The role requires certification (ARRT NM or NMTCB), Texas licensure, BLS, and ACLS within 6 months of hire. A CAHEA accredited education is preferred. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and growth opportunities within the HCA Healthcare network.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CAHEA accredited Nuclear Medicine program.
• Texas MTR license or eligibility.
• ARRT (NM) or NMTCB certification in Nuclear Medicine.
• NMTCB PET certification preferred.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire or transfer date.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision of a Nuclear Medicine Physician, perform Nuclear Medicine/P.E.T procedures and related radiographic tasks.
• Operate Nuclear Medicine cameras and varied equipment with high degree of independent judgment.
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals as outlined in Nuclear Medicine scope of practice; maintain radiation safety standards.
