Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technician to join the Nuclear Medicine department. Under the supervision of a Nuclear Medicine Physician, you will perform radiographic procedures and administer radiopharmaceuticals.

The role requires certification (ARRT NM or NMTCB), Texas licensure, and BLS/ACLS. This on-site position offers day shifts and comprehensive benefits as part of HCA Healthcare's Medical City Heart & Spine Hospitals network.

Qualifications

• Graduate of CAHEA accredited school of Nuclear Medicine preferred
• MTR State of Texas is required
• ARRT (NM) or NMTCB certification required
• NMTCB PET certification preferred
• Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS provider
• ACLS provider required within 6 months of hire or transfer date

Responsibilities

• Under the guidance of a Nuclear Medicine Physician, the Nuclear Medicine/P.E.T Technologist accomplishes one or a combination of several general radiographic procedures.
• Administers pharmaceuticals and radiopharmaceuticals as outlined in Nuclear Medicine Scope of Practice.
• Demonstrates radiation safety and performs other duties as assigned.
