Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a qualified Nuclear Medicine Technician to join the Heart & Spine Hospitals team. The role involves performing Nuclear Medicine and PET procedures under physician supervision, with a focus on accurate radiopharmaceutical administration and patient care.

Responsibilities include operating diverse imaging equipment, handling in-patients and out-patients, and adhering to radiation safety standards. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CAHEA accredited Nuclear Medicine program.
• MTR licensure in Texas or equivalent is required.
• ARRT (NM) or NMTCB certification is required.
• NMTCB PET certification preferred.
• Current BLS provider from AHA or Red Cross.
• ACLS provider required within 6 months of hire/transfer date.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision of a Nuclear Medicine Physician, performs Nuclear Medicine and PET procedures.
• Executes radiopharmaceutical administration with attention to safety and accuracy.
• Performs studies on in-patients and out-patients as assigned.
• Operates Nuclear Medicine cameras and related equipment.

American Heart Association BLS
