Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technician to perform radiographic procedures and PET imaging under physician supervision. You will work with Nuclear Medicine cameras and radiopharmaceuticals, ensuring safety and accuracy in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

The role requires NMTCB or NMT certification, a Texas MRT license, and ARRT(NM) or NMTCB certification. PET certification is preferred and BLS is required.

Qualifications

• NMTCB or NMT certification required.
• Texas MRT license required.
• ARRT(NM) or NMTCB certification.
• NMTCB PET certification preferred.
• Current BLS provider.

Responsibilities

• Under the guidance of a Nuclear Medicine Physician, the Nuclear Medicine/P.E.T Technologist performs radiographic procedures as part of patient care.
• Performs tests for in-patients and out-patients with high degree of independent judgment.
• Operates Nuclear Medicine cameras and related equipment.
• Administers radiopharmaceuticals and radiopharmaceuticals as outlined in the scope of practice.
• Ensures radiation safety throughout procedures and patient interactions.
