Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technician to perform nuclear medicine and PET procedures under the supervision of a Nuclear Medicine Physician. You will operate cameras, administer radiopharmaceuticals, and uphold radiation safety for patients.

Requirements include NMTCB or NMT certification, MRT Texas, ARRT(NM) or NMTCB certification, and current BLS. NMTCB PET certification is preferred; cross-training may be required with supervised training and certification in an

Qualifications

• Certified NM technologist or NMTCB/NMT certification required.
• State licensure or registration in Texas MRT.
• ARRT(NM) or NMTCB certification required; PET certification preferred.
• BLS certification current.
• Cross-training under supervision with certification in alternate modality within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Under guidance of a Nuclear Medicine Physician, perform nuclear medicine and PET procedures.
• Operate nuclear medicine cameras and related equipment with accuracy.
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals as outlined in scope of practice.
• Ensure radiation safety and patient care throughout procedures.
• Perform tests on in-patients and out-patients as required.
