Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technician to join the Heart & Spine Hospitals team. The role is full-time, daytime shifts, under the supervision of a Nuclear Medicine Physician, performing radiopharmaceutical procedures and PET imaging as required.

The ideal candidate has Texas MTR licensure, ARRT NM or NMTCB certification, and BLS/ACLS credentials. Knowledge of radiation safety and patient care is essential to deliver accurate diagnostics and compassionate service.

Qualifications

• Graduate of CAHEA accredited school of Nuclear Medicine preferred
• MTR State of Texas
• ARRT (NM) or NMTCB certification
• NMTCB PET certification preferred
• Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS provider
• ACLS provider within 6 months of hire or transfer date required

Responsibilities

• Under the guidance of a Nuclear Medicine Physician, the Nuclear Medicine/P.E.T Technologist accomplishes one or a combination of several general radiographic procedures.
• Administers pharmaceuticals and radiopharmaceuticals as outlined in Nuclear Medicine Scope of Practice; Demonstrates radiation safety; Other duties as assigned
