Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a dedicated Nuclear Medicine Technician to join the team at the Heart & Spine Hospitals. You will perform Nuclear Medicine and PET procedures under physician supervision, using a range of cameras and radiopharmaceuticals to support diagnosis.

The role requires a Texas MTR license, ARRT NM or NMTCB certification, and current BLS; ACLS training within six months is expected. This on-site position offers full-time hours and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Graduate of CAHEA accredited school of Nuclear Medicine preferred
• MTR State of Texas license
• ARRT (NM) or NMTCB certification
• NMTCB PET certification preferred
• Current BLS provider
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire or transfer date

Responsibilities

• Under the guidance of a Nuclear Medicine Physician, the Nuclear Medicine/P.E.T Technologist performs general radiographic procedures as applicable
• Performs tests in in-patients and out-patients using Nuclear Medicine cameras and equipment
• Administers pharmaceuticals and radiopharmaceuticals following Nuclear Medicine Scope of Practice and radiation safety
