Medical City Dallas is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technician for a full-time, day-shift role at the Medical City Heart & Spine Hospitals near Medical City Dallas. You will operate Nuclear Medicine cameras, administer radiopharmaceuticals and support radiographic procedures under physician supervision.

The successful candidate will hold a Texas MTR, ARRT (NM) or NMTCB, and ideally NMTCB PET certification, with BLS and ACLS within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Graduate of CAHEA accredited school of Nuclear Medicine.
• Licensed or certified in Texas (MTR).
• ARRT (NM) or NMTCB certification required.
• NMTCB PET certification preferred.
• Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS provider.
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire or transfer date.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision of a Nuclear Medicine Physician, perform general radiographic procedures as appropriate.
• Apply isotopes for radiographic diagnosis with judgment and initiative.
• Conduct tests on in-patients and out-patients; operate Nuclear Medicine cameras and equipment.
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals per Nuclear Medicine scope of practice; ensure radiation safety.
• Carry out other duties as assigned.
