Job summary

ENERCON is seeking a Nuclear Chief Engineering Division Director to lead our Nuclear Engineering organization’s technical analysis and governance functions. This role provides strategic direction for SME and Specialty Engineering Analysis Teams across mechanical, structural, electrical, and fire protection disciplines supporting the nuclear industry.

The position is hybrid with three days in an office and travel each month to the Kennesaw, GA home office; primary offices include multiple

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Nuclear, or related Engineering discipline required.
PE license required; advanced technical certifications or graduate degree preferred.
25+ years of engineering experience in commercial nuclear power generation, nuclear design/analysis/licensing, modifications, or plant operations.
10+ years in progressive leadership managing large (100+) engineering organizations or major technical programs.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic leadership and oversight for Mechanical, Structural, Electrical, and Fire Protection Chief Analysis Teams.
Lead engineering governance processes ensuring regulatory compliance, QA, and risk management.
Engage with commercial nuclear utilities, regulators, and industry organizations; support business development and client relations.
