Job summary

ENERCON is seeking a Nuclear Chief Engineering Division Director to lead our Nuclear Engineering organization’s technical analysis and governance functions.

This senior role provides strategic direction for SME and Specialty Engineering Analysis Teams across multiple offices, ensuring regulatory compliance and engineering excellence in mechanical, structural, electrical, and fire protection disciplines supporting the nuclear industry.

Qualifications

• 25+ years of engineering experience in commercial nuclear power, design, analysis, licensing, modifications, or plant operations.
• 10+ years of progressive leadership managing large (100+) size engineering organizations, programs, or teams.
• PE license required; advanced certifications or graduate degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for Mechanical, Structural, Electrical, and Fire Protection Chief Analysis Teams.
• Lead governance and oversight activities ensuring regulatory compliance and quality.
• Engage with utilities, regulators, and industry bodies to grow ENERCON's nuclear portfolio.
• Mentor and develop engineers across multiple office locations.
• Partner with other leaders to drive innovation and digital engineering initiatives.
