Job summary

ENERCON is seeking a Nuclear Chief Engineering Division Director to lead our Nuclear Engineering organization's technical analysis and governance. This hybrid role involves guiding multiple office locations and ensuring engineering standards, regulatory compliance, and technical excellence across mechanical, structural, electrical, and fire protection disciplines for the nuclear industry.

The role requires 25+ years in engineering with 10+ years of leadership, PE licensure, and strong NRC

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Nuclear, or related Engineering.
Professional Engineer (PE) license required; advanced certifications or graduate degree preferred.
25+ years of engineering experience supporting commercial nuclear power generation.
10+ years of progressive leadership managing large engineering organizations or teams.
Experience in Chief Engineer/Engineering Director or comparable senior leadership role.
Strong NRC regulatory knowledge and engineering governance.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic leadership and oversight for the Mechanical, Structural, Electrical, and Fire Protection Chief Analysis Teams.
Lead governance activities to support regulatory compliance, QA, and risk management.
Serve as senior technical representative to utilities, regulators, and industry groups.
Lead and mentor chiefs engineers and discipline leads across multiple offices.
Collaborate with directors to drive innovation and digital engineering.
