Job summary

ENERCON is seeking a Nuclear Chief Engineering Division Director to lead our Nuclear Engineering organization’s technical analysis and governance functions across mechanical, structural, electrical, and fire protection disciplines.

The hybrid role requires 3 days in the primary office and travel 25-40% to multiple U.S. offices, including Kennesaw, GA. You will guide SME teams, ensure regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and drive innovation and engineering excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and PE license; advanced certifications or graduate degree preferred.
• 25+ years of engineering experience in commercial nuclear power design, analysis, licensing, modifications, or plant operations.
• 10+ years of leadership managing large (100+) size engineering teams or programs.
• Experience in Chief Engineer, Engineering Director, Senior Manager, or similar senior technical role.
• Strong knowledge of NRC requirements, QA programs, design controls, and governance.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for Mechanical, Structural, Electrical, and Fire Protection teams.
• Lead engineering governance, reviews, and regulatory compliance activities.
• Engage with utilities, regulators, and industry groups to grow ENERCON's nuclear portfolio.
• Mentor and develop engineers across multiple office locations.
