Job summary

Enercon Services, Inc. seeks a Nuclear Chief Engineering Division Director to lead our Nuclear Engineering organization’s technical analysis and governance functions.

This hybrid role involves three days in a primary office and about 25-40% overnight travel to home office locations, including Cleveland, OH. You will guide SMEs across Mechanical, Structural, Electrical, and Fire Protection disciplines in the nuclear sector.

Qualifications

• 25+ years of engineering experience in commercial nuclear power.
• 10+ years of progressive leadership managing large (100+) size engineering organizations, technical programs, or discipline-specific engineering teams.
• Experience serving in a Chief Engineer, Engineering Director, Engineering Senior Manager, or comparable senior technical leadership role.
• Demonstrated expertise in core engineering disciplines across nuclear engineering with working knowledge of NRC regulatory requirements.
• Ability to travel overnight up to 25-40%.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for the Nuclear Engineering teams and establish technical direction and standards.
• Lead engineering governance reviews and ensure regulatory compliance and risk management.
• Engage clients, support business development, and drive growth of ENERCON's nuclear portfolio.
• Lead and mentor Chief Engineers and discipline leads across multiple offices.
• Collaborate with Engineering Directors and Operations Leadership to enable project execution and drive innovation.
