Enercon Services, Inc. seeks a Nuclear Chief Engineering Division Director to lead our Nuclear Engineering organization’s analysis and governance.

This high-impact role provides strategic direction for SME and Specialty Analysis Teams across disciplines, ensuring technical excellence and regulatory compliance for nuclear programs. The role is hybrid, requiring three days in office and about 25–40% travel, with primary offices including Kennesaw, GA, and San Luis Obispo, CA, among others

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Nuclear, or related Engineering discipline.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required; advanced technical certifications or graduate degree preferred.
• 25+ years of engineering experience in commercial nuclear power generation, design, licensing, or plant operations.
• 10+ years of leadership experience managing large (100+) engineering organizations or programs.
• Experience as Chief Engineer/Engineering Director or comparable senior technical leader.
• Expertise across mechanical, structural, nuclear, electrical or controls engineering with broad knowledge across disciplines.
• Strong understanding of NRC regulations, nuclear QA programs, design controls, and governance.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams across multiple offices and large projects.
• Proven ability to influence technical strategy and mentor senior engineers.
• Strong communication and executive leadership skills.
• Travel overnight up to 25-40%.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and oversight for engineering teams across nuclear disciplines.
• Lead engineering governance, reviews, and compliance processes.
• Represent the organization with utilities, regulators, and industry groups; support business development.
• Mentor and develop Chief Engineers, Discipline Leads, and SMEs across offices.
• Collaborate with other directors to align resources, standards, and innovation initiatives.
