Job summary

Securitas US Business Unit is seeking a Security Account Manager for Norwood, MA. This role oversees daily security operations at client sites, supervising officers and site supervisors, and ensuring adherence to post orders with a strong emphasis on safety and professionalism.

The position requires leadership, attention to detail, and a commitment to client satisfaction. Schedule is Monday to Friday 8:00 AM–4:00 PM; pay rate is $26.50 per hour, with opportunities to train and develop staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of security management, military service, or law enforcement experience required.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
• Proficient in intermediate computer use and report writing.
• Experience onboarding and training new hires a plus.

Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Supervise Security Officers and Site Supervisors, ensuring all duties are performed in accordance with post orders and company policies.
• Training & Development: Train new staff members and review post procedures.
• Scheduling & Coverage: Assist with coordinating shift coverage.
• Client Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for client representatives, addressing concerns and ensuring service excellence.
• Incident Management: Respond to emergencies, conduct investigations, and file detailed reports.
• Performance Management: Coach, discipline, and evaluate staff performance; document actions and elevate as needed.
• Patrolling & Inspections: Conduct regular site inspections and patrols to ensure safety and compliance.
