Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a District Sales Manager for the Northwest territory, covering Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Alaska, and British Columbia. The role reports to the West Regional Manager and focuses on growing profitable market share for the Star Building Systems line.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in Building Materials, strong knowledge of pre-engineered building systems, and the ability to translate architectural plans into sales strategies.

Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in Building Materials.
• Experience within the pre-engineered building space required.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and maintain positive relationships.
• Must have thorough understanding of construction process.
• Ability to comprehend and translate architectural plans and specifications.
• Ability to analyze market conditions and competition and develop strategic responses to opportunities.
• Strong understanding of Drafting, Estimating, and Inside Sales.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment is essential.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements market plans that include customer analysis, competitive insights, growth opportunities, and revenue goals.
• Comprehensive understanding of all products and systems offered by Cornerstone Building Brands in the market.
• Demonstrates a complete understanding of key customer’s business and the critical measures that drive each account.
• Works effectively and collaboratively with all Cornerstone Building Brands internal departments to ensure customer experience is optimized and efficient.
• Ability to work with Operating Systems.
