Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Presales Engineer to manage presale opportunities and implement complex projects, including public safety networks, devices, and CAD/CDR capabilities. Travel up to 25% is expected, with base salary range disclosed for U.S.

candidates. The role emphasizes collaboration with Sales, Engineering, and Operations to deliver end-to-end solutions for first responders and enterprise customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 4+ years of sales, sales engineering, public safety experience
• OR 8+ years of sales, sales engineering, public safety experience
• LMR experience highly preferred
• Strong written and oral communications skills
• Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Willingness to think out of the box and deliver results
• Attention to detail and flawless execution mindset
• Knowledge of wireless communications fundamentals and IP networking is desirable

Responsibilities

• Working closely with the Sales Team to deliver customer-driven end-to-end solutions across the country.
• Defines directions and requirements to ensure timely implementation and quality of the technical solutions.
• Provide engineering services for Customers, including commissioning and testing Motorola equipment.
• Preparation of system bids considering customer needs and equipment availability.
• Collaborate with operations and developers to meet delivery requirements and deadlines.
