Job summary

Chainguard, a security-focused provider of hardened open source software, seeks an International Business Development Representative for the Nordics. This remote role can be based in Denmark or Sweden and collaborates with security and engineering teams.

You’ll lead technical outbound, map target accounts with AEs, and engage developers, DevOps and security leaders to build pipeline that converts. Compensation is $100,000 OTE.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of BDR/SDR experience or equivalent
• Proven ability to generate pipeline through outbound
• Experience engaging multiple stakeholders in technical/complex orgs
• Strong writing skills for personalized outreach
• Curious and motivated to learn how modern software and security work
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and building your approach
• Experience with Salesforce, Outreach/Salesloft, or similar tools
• Track record of hitting or exceeding pipeline targets

Responsibilities

• Drive enterprise account strategy with AEs to map target accounts across security, platform, and engineering teams
• Run thoughtful, technical outbound with personalized outreach to developers, DevOps, and security leaders
• Understand modern infrastructure (containers, CI/CD, cloud environments) to keep outreach credible
• Lead meaningful early conversations by assessing technical context, risk, and priorities
• Build real pipeline with opportunities that move forward, not just meetings
• Act as an extension of the AE and collaborate on account plans and messaging
• Use Salesforce, Outreach/Salesloft and data tools efficiently while preserving quality
• Continuously test messaging and share insights with marketing/product
