Job summary

Dash0 is redefining observability with an OpenTelemetry-native platform and a product that emphasizes simplicity, AI-centric insights, and cost control. As a Commercial Solutions Engineer, you will bridge product and customer outcomes by designing, demonstrating, and validating Dash0's capabilities in real-world environments.

You will design observability solutions using OpenTelemetry and Kubernetes, develop POCs, and deliver technical demos for engineers and executives.

Qualifications

• Deep technical knowledge in Kubernetes, OpenTelemetry, observability pipelines, and distributed tracing.
• Hands-on instrumentation, telemetry data ingestion, and performance optimization.
• Strong communication skills to explain observability concepts to engineers and decision-makers.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect observability solutions leveraging OpenTelemetry, Kubernetes, and cloud-native technologies.
• Translate complex customer requirements into scalable, performant, and maintainable Dash0 implementations.
• Develop and execute Proofs of Concept (POCs) that highlight Dash0's differentiated technical capabilities.
• Deliver engaging technical demos and presentations tailored to engineering and executive audiences.
• Collaborate closely with Account Executives throughout the sales cycle to position Dash0 as the technical solution of choice.
• Provide architecture guidance and best practices for observability setup, telemetry data modeling, and OpenTelemetry collector design.
• Create and maintain reusable demo environments, reference architectures, and POC templates.
• Partner with Product Management to provide technical insights that influence roadmap and feature priorities.
