Job summary

Dash0, an OpenTelemetry-native observability startup, is seeking a Commercial Solutions Engineer to bridge product and customer outcomes. Based in Amsterdam with a remote-first culture, you will design and validate end-to-end observability solutions for real-world environments.

You will translate customer needs into scalable Dash0 architectures, develop proofs of concept, deliver technical demos, and collaborate with Sales, Product, and Engineering to showcase value and drive adoption.

Qualifications

• Deep technical knowledge in Kubernetes, OpenTelemetry, observability pipelines, and distributed tracing.
• Hands-on instrumentation, telemetry data ingestion, and performance optimization.
• Strong understanding of modern DevOps, SRE, and platform engineering practices.
• Excellent communication skills to explain complex observability concepts to engineers and leaders.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect observability solutions leveraging OpenTelemetry, Kubernetes, and cloud-native tech.
• Translate customer requirements into scalable, performant Dash0 implementations.
• Develop and execute POCs that highlight Dash0's capabilities.
• Deliver engaging technical demos and presentations to engineers and executives.
• Collaborate with Account Executives to position Dash0 as the technical solution of choice.
• Provide architecture guidance for observability setup and data modeling.
• Create and maintain reusable demos, reference architectures, and POC templates.
• Partner with Product Management to inform roadmap and feature priorities.
