Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance is required.
• MBA or MPA, preferred.
• Seven (7) or more years of demonstrated accounting experience with a focus on nonprofits, required.
• Experience with accounting systems and nonprofit accounting principles, required.
• CPA, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior level financial management services to nonprofits undergoing organizational or leadership change.
• Oversee month-end close, audit support, budget development, and cash flow planning.
• Support leadership teams and Boards in financial decision-making and communicating complex financial information.
• Ensure compliance with nonprofit financial reporting standards.
• Conduct infrastructure assessments and advise on financial sustainability.
• Oversee grant compliance including billing, budgeting, accounting, and reporting.
• Mentor and supervise consultants on engagements and project management.
