Job summary

Saber-Healthcare-Group in Centerville, VA is seeking a Social Services professional to support residents’ emotional and social needs within the facility’s Social Services Department.

You will assist in planning, organizing, and directing operations, ensuring compliance with all standards while collaborating closely with care teams and families to enhance resident well-being.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director to meet the medically related emotional and social needs of residents on an individual basis.
• Assist in planning, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the Social Services Department operations.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.
• Collaborate with care teams to support resident well-being and family communication.

Position Summary:

The primary purpose of your job is to assist the Director to ensure that the medically related emotional and social needs of the resident are met/maintained on an individual basis. You will assist in planning, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the overall operation of the community’s Social Services Department in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations, our established policies and procedures.

Education/Qualifications:

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related field preferred.

Shift & Wage:

• Full-Time Opportunities Available
• Shifts Needed: 1st Shift
• Wage: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
