Job summary

The Saber Healthcare Group facility in Virginia seeks a Social Services Assistant to support the Director in meeting residents' emotional and social needs. You will help plan, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the Social Services Department within federal, state, and local guidelines.

This full-time role offers 1st shift opportunities, a wage of $22.00–$25.00 per hour, and a benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and 401K. HR will provide facility-specific plans and details.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the overall operation of the community’s Social Services Department in accordance with applicable standards and procedures.
• Support the Director to ensure the emotional and social needs of residents are met on an individual basis.

Position Summary

The primary purpose of your job is to assist the Director to ensure that the medically related emotional and social needs of the resident are met/maintained on an individual basis. You will assist in planning, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the overall operation of the community’s Social Services Department in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations, our established policies and procedures.
