Job summary

Transaction Network Services (TNS) seeks a Field Support engineer to ensure stability and availability of the Financial Markets infrastructure. You will manage incidents, perform advanced routing troubleshooting, and collaborate with vendors to resolve complex IP issues while maintaining top-tier service for global clients.

The role requires hands-on experience with Cisco/Arista/Juniper, ITIL familiarity, and strong communication skills for a customer-facing environment in the Financial Markets

Qualifications

• Experience with TCP/IP, VPN and MPLS networks.
• Hands-on configuration and troubleshooting of Cisco, Arista and Juniper routers/switches.
• ITIL Certification or equivalent service-management training.
• Experience in financial markets or managed service provider environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for global large-scale TCP/IP, VPN, MPLS networks including OSPF/BGP/EIGRP/RIP/IS-IS.
• Hands-on configuration and troubleshooting of Cisco, Arista, Juniper routers and switches.
• Vendor management with Cisco and Juniper TAC.
• Second-level network and protocol troubleshooting and debugging.
• Coordinate, schedule and support network maintenance and change management activities.
• Provide on-call escalation support on a rotating schedule.
• Prepare operation readiness checks for NOC handover and project acceptance.
• Incident management to restore services with minimal impact.
