Job summary

Transaction Network Services (TNS) is seeking a skilled technical support engineer to join the Financial Markets team. You will resolve complex IP network issues, coordinate with Cisco/Juniper TAC, and manage incident tickets with a focus on uptime and customer satisfaction.

The role requires hands-on experience with TCP/IP, VPN, and MPLS, along with router/switch configuration and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Computer Science degree or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in financial markets support or managed services preferred.
• ITIL certification or equivalent incident-management training.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with customer-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical or non-technical product support to customers.
• Raise incident tickets and assign to engineers; coordinate with NOC and vendors.
• Perform network troubleshooting of TCP/IP, VPN and MPLS involving OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, RIP, IS-IS.
• Engage NOC engineers to drive incidents to resolution; participate in 24x7 coverage on a rotation.
• Maintain and update tickets; provide after-hours escalation support as required.
• Ensure changes follow Change Management Policy and minimize impact during implementat ion.
