Job summary

RACOM seeks a Network Operations Center (NOC) Manager to oversee 24/7 Land Mobile Radio systems support for diverse customers. You will lead the NOC team, fill in as operator during absences, and collaborate with stakeholders, customers and vendors to ensure reliable communications.

Ideal candidates hold 3–4 years of managerial experience or 4 years as a NOC operator, with strong communication and problem-solving skills. Standard hours 8–5, with night/weekend coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3–4 years as a manager or 4 years as a NOC operator or similar experience.
• Excellent communication, verbal and written, and the ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Manage, supervise, schedule, and train NOC personnel to ensure 24/7 readiness.
• Develop and maintain standard procedures and guidelines across customers and internal teams.
• Provide NOC operator support during peak periods or when needed.
• Generate routine incident/outage/maintenance reports for management and clients.
• Collaborate with operators, stakeholders, customers and vendors to ensure smooth operations.
